Basic Course on Military and Police Terrain Analysis with ArcGIS 10

In this course, we will explore the various geoprocessing tools and basic functionalities for military terrain analysis in projects, focusing on creating vector files (points, lines, and polygons), managing geodatabases, exporting Excel tables and graphic maps exported from FalconView, and more, using ArcGIS 10.
We will also analyze, step by step, each of the basic tools used to perform analyses and study the foundational theory of GIS applied to military terrain analysis.
In this course, you will learn through tutorial videos how to use geoprocessing tools and basic functionalities of ArcGIS applied to military terrain analysis. You will also be able to download PDFs of the procedures to follow in the program, theoretical principles for each tool, and the geographic information needed for practice on your computer.
You can communicate with your instructor, share questions and information with your peers, consult course materials, and view updates—even after completing the course.
